This was an awesome training! If you are looking for an excellent self defense pistol training, this one is perfect. The class teaches you all the fundamentals needed for a self defense situation.

The course was excellent. Herfel and his fellow instructors were outstanding. Very structured training in a great sequential process and very safety conscious while at the same time humor was interjected which led to the overall success of the day. Well done folks.

Knowing Herfel, expectations by me were high for this course. Herfel, Will and Carlos GREATLY EXCEEDED all expectations. The course was stepped to lead up to the “putting it all together” part of the course. After almost 50 years of shooting, I had developed some bad habits which were taken care of along with gaining a wealth of new information that increased my skill level. Carlos was fantastic and gave me near one on one help through the entire course. Herfel is a skilled instructor and his personality and humor kept the course fun and interesting. Five star fantastic. Outstanding training in easy to learn step by step block building instruction.

Herfel from Valortec, was great during the rifle training! Small class that allows for several repetitions and the drills were challenging and pushed skills! A lot of knowledge shared from the instructor in a very comprehensive way! Will be coming back for the pistol class.

Excellent course with plenty of very useful information, tips plus a great quality lesson book from the NRA (very detailed and well redacted.) The instructor, Mr. John Ferro, was simply outstanding. The best training tips I personally attained from Mr. Ferro were during range qualifications. I would strongly recommend this course at the Volusia County Gun and Hunt Club. This is my third class with them and I intend to continue training with them.

This was a very useful and interesting course. Most range time is done standing in a fixed position shooting at fixed targets. This instruction and drills throughout the day centered around drawing, acquiring your target, shooting, reloading and shooting again. The final result was putting all of it together while on the move. And as always repetition is the key. I know I have work to do. Excellent course.

I enjoyed learning about guns, gun safety, and the laws regarding weapons. Thank you. The only constructive criticism is the Deer Flies were biting and I actually have about 10 welts on me.

I enjoyed the class and enjoyed the tips on practicing to become a better, more accurate shooter.
