Excellent instruction. All the instructors were very knowledgeable and did a great job of teaching the principles of defensive pistol shooting.

The instructor is very careful at explaining how to handle a AR-15 carbine. Mr. Herfel is very knowledgeable and really expresses his interest for his students to learn and grow there knowledge.

First rate instruction! Classroom teaching covered a lot of ground followed by practical application on the range. Would definitely sign up for further rifle classes hopefully multi-day.

Herfel Torres and Team Valortec are incredibly good at their craft and they always inspire me and others to excel.

Excellent Drills course focused on core fundamentals. Course started with review of fundamentals then moved to dryfire focusing on grip, alignment and body mechanics. Quickly moved to live fire with emphasis on speed and accuracy. Herfel (lead instructor) assess each participants ability and challenges them to shoot outside their comfort zone while providing constructive feedback to correct/tweak their technique. Measurable progress was seen in each student’s abilities by the end of the day. Overall great class with great instructors. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to test their limits and brush up on core fundamentals.

Excellent class. The drills in this course are set up to build on your existing techniques (as well as new ones) and to make you aware of your weak spots and not just aware, but, the instructors make sure you develop the knowledge and techniques to improve on these. Herfel is one of the best instructors I have had in my close to 30 years of training.

I had a great time during the class and learned so much. Gorka is a knowledgeable teacher, I saw improvement in my performance throughout the course of the class!

Very well ran course. We showed up to this course having a lot of basic and fundamental pistol training. the first day of this course reinforced that but helped you understand how the fundamentals can make you a faster, more accurate and consistent shooting. The second day of this course really pushed you past your limits at the same time applying everything that was covered the first day.

Over all i would attend this course again and reccomend others to attent as well.

Aside from being a world class shooter athlete, Gorka is a super cool instructor. He is down to earth and will go down to our level of knowledge and experience, very patient in teaching us (his students) the proper way of competitive sport shooting. Highly recommended, can’t wait on our next class.

Herfel and Will were always looking out for a personal safety.
They delivered an effective training day. Provided enough demonstration and gave each participant good rotation to live fire practice. Always want more live fire!

If there is room for improvement the facilty is very functional but could stand some slight minor improvements more cover, maybe power for fans, a few more chairs not looking to be pampered but something especially while waiting for our turn in rotation…I say this simply because we are paying civilians not career responders.

Overall a very good day. Would recommend this course to ALL firearm owners as a great way to begin your journey. And a requirement to anyone that has a firearm for self-defense. Confidence builder..but it is just the beginning!

Gorka put on a fast paced no down time competition class. Gorka evaluated each student while shooting and provided advice and feedback on what to improve on. Started with the fundamentals and covered target transitions and shooting on the move. Since there was a match at the range the next day, there was a squad set aside for the students to shoot as well.

Very informative and comprehensive class. Gorka took the time to explain things in layman’s terms that a relative newbie could understand yet a seasoned competitor wouldn’t find boring.
I really appreciated that Gorka welcomed questions and answered them no matter how basic or complicated.
GREAT class, instructor and range! I will definitely be taking more classes. A+

Really good class!!! Much better than I had anticipated. Move and shoot, multiple targets, and door breaching. Really cool to see what the shotgun is capable of doing. I learned a lot. I have even more to work on. Overall was a fantastic class and had a lot of fun!

The day of training was awesome. It covered the fundamentals that identified some underlying problems and then building on that by adding skills for improving competitive shooting. I walked away with some new skills, added confidence and things to work on. The class size was perfect. Gorka was engaging, gave equal time to all, shared some of his secrets and open to all questions. All in all, I was very happy that I took this class.

Herfel and his team did it again. This was a great follow-up to the one day basic class with much greater in-depth training on all aspects of self-defensive response. The classes are limited in the number of participants so that everyone receives individualized instruction. On top of that, it is a fun way to learn.

Awesome class and instructor and assistants are top level!! Definitely would recommend this class.

Herfel did an outstanding job; have been in the military and around guns my whole life, but I learned some interesting things about gun safety.
Herfel’s demeanor was exceptional, ensuring ALL students were actively engaged in the training.
Can’t wait to start working at the Gun Club and helping shooters stay SAFE.
